Are you planning to start a family, recently welcomed a new addition, or already navigating the journey of parenthood? While being a parent or guardian is incredibly rewarding, it doesn't come with a manual. That's where Lakelands Public Health steps in. Our dedicated team is here to offer guidance and support tailored to every stage of your child's development, ensuring the well-being of both you and your family.

Building Resilience with Your Child

Resilience is staying healthy through challenges with support. It's influenced by things like genes, relationships, experiences, and our environment. The early years play a crucial role in shaping children's health. Safe, stable, nurturing relationships and environments support children's healthy growth and development, grow their confidence and build resilience.

Safe environments free of toxic stress are essential to promote independence and a feeling of security. A calm environment can make it easier to connect.

Stability helps children know what to expect, helping to grow attachment and trust with their parents and caregivers.

Love, care, and sharing positive experiences create a sense of belonging and support children in reaching their full potential!

Programs for Families

Our programs emphasize the importance of health and resilience, these programs offer a variety of services customized to meet the diverse needs of families from preconception through parenthood.
