GetaKit: Free and Easy HIV and STI Testing

GetaKit lets you test for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs) for free. Residents with a valid health card in the City and County of Peterborough can order a kit online to test at home or at a lab.

Cervical Screening Replaces PAP Testing

Effective March 3, 2025, The Ontario Cervical Screening Program (OCSP) is implementing human papillomavirus (HPV) testing that will replace PAP testing. The new cervical screening program is an excellent way to find out if you are at risk for developing abnormal cells which can lead to cancer.
