Summary of Duties:
The Tobacco Student Test Shopper is accountable to Environmental Health and Infectious Diseases Management for assisting the Tobacco Control Officers during tobacco vendor enforcement checks/inspections in accordance with the Tobacco, Vapour and Smoke Protocol, 2018.

- Enrolled in secondary education

- Proof of immunizations required by Lakelands Public Health
- Age as determined by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care’s Smoke Free Ontario guidelines (15-17 years of age)
- At least one type of government issued photo-identification for use during court appearances (e.g. Driver’s License, Health Card, etc.)
- Parental consent and agreement to return to Lakelands Public Health for court appearances as specified by written agreement with Lakelands Public Health
- Able to work after school and/or in the evening as requested
- Able to maintain confidentiality, as specified by written agreement with Lakelands Public Health
- Demonstrated evidence of reliability, conflict resolution and oral/written communication skills, and ability to observe and recall visual/factual information accurately
